Viewing a Lightning And Hearing The Sound Of Thunder

We know that lightning is a special miracle that always amaze us and frightening  also. We cannot describe the beauty of the lightning. Lightning is a glorious phenomenon in the world,in my view lightning is an extra-ordinary phenomenon. Lightning may appear as a jagged streak, as a bright sheet, or in rare cases, as a glowing red ball.
In scientific terms lightning is a flash of light in the sky caused by an electrical discharge between a cloud and the earth's surface. 

Thunder cannot be apart from lightning. Thunder is caused by lightning. Once the light is gone the air collapses back in and creates a sound wave that we hear as thunder.
