Life Of Amazon

Life Of Amazon

One of nature's greatest creations is AMAZON. The amazon rain forest is the worlds' largest tropical rain forest, famous for its massive biodiversity of animals, plant life, and insects.

The Amazon has the greatest total flow of any river, carrying more than the Mississippi, Nile, and Yangtze rivers combined. It also has the largest drainage area of any river system.
The Mississippi River is the second-longest river and it is the chief river of the second-largest drainage system on the North American continent. There are 32,000 - 38,000 alligators and about 408,000 acres of alligator habitat in Mississippi.
The amazon rain forest is filled with the most amazing creatures. The Amazon is one of the earth's last refuges for Jaguars, Harpy Eagles, and pink river Dolphins, and it is the home of sloths, black spider monkeys, and poison dart frogs. It contains 40,000 plant species, 3,000  freshwater fish species, and more than 370 types of reptiles.
AMAZON is home to so many plants and animal species. They are winter homes to many birds that breed in temperature latitudes.
