Yeah. Everyone will get curious about the title"The BitterSweet Medicine" as to why is it named bittersweet. Its because it is a medicine that is actually bitter in taste but its various uses make it a sweet medicine. And that medicine is NEEM.

                                                     Neem has limitless benefits. Neem is widely used for medicinal purposes in Ayurveda. Tip to toe of neem has not only physical benefits but also mental benefits. ie, according to Indian Vastu Shastra planting a neem tree will bring peace and unanimity as well as remove negative energy from both inside and outside of a house.

Benefits of Neem

It used as a remedy to :
  • Skin diseases like psoriasis, fungal infections, itching, chickenpox, etc;
  • heart problem
  • eye disorders
  • ulcer
  • gum disease
  • jaundice
  • pimples
  • it can kill cancer cells
  • also, it helps in hair growth
  • it can be used as an anti-biotic

How to Apply

  • For skin diseases like psoriasis, fungal infections, and itching take few neems leaves then grind it well and apply on the infected part.
  • For chickenpox bath in water boiled with neem leaves.
  • For pimples take few neem leaves to boil it in water in a mild flame then wash your face with the lukewarm neem water.
  • Freshly lactated cow milk should be mixed with neem leaves(7 leaves), dry pepper(7), and turmeric proportional to peppers quantity, and having it for 21 days will help cure ulcers.
  • by eating the mashed neem flower mixed with gee can help to cure jaundice.
  • For hair growth and dandruff problems grind neem leaf and apply on the scalp and massage for a few minutes and wash it after an hour or less. Doing this for a month helps in hair growth and will remove dandruff.

Demerits of Neem

  • it can kill sperms. It is also a spermicide.
  • it is unsafe when taken by mouth in large doses or for a long period of time.
  • it is harmful to pregnant ladies.
  • it can make variations in sugar.
  • take doctor's advice before using it. ie, before deciding the quantity to intake.

Conclusion

This is a special tree. A perfect example of how nature holds both the problem and the cure. Neem has many incredible benefits. If you use it properly it is a very useful medicinal tree.
